Accessibility statement.

A page saying what standard the site aims to meet, what is known not to meet it yet, and how someone can report a problem or request information another way.

Why it matters.

It is not a substitute for making the site accessible, and a statement claiming full conformance on a site that plainly is not is worse than none. Written honestly — here is where we are, here is how to reach us — it is both an obligation under Ontario's rules for some organisations and a reasonable thing to publish.

How to check it yourself.

Search your site for the word "accessibility". If nothing comes back and your organisation is covered by Ontario's rules, that is a gap worth closing this month.
