Redesign · North York
Rebuilding a site
in North York.
Of the 1,753 working business websites we opened in North York, 438 are visibly out of date and 185 still date themselves in the footer. Most of them do not need replacing — they need three things fixed, and we say which before quoting.
Every line above comes from our own survey of North York: 2,745 listings, each website opened and checked by hand. Nothing is modelled. (North York is part of Toronto; we count the businesses that give North York as their address.)
When a rebuild is the answer in North York
Three faults cannot be patched: no mobile layout at all (37 sites here), a platform nobody maintains (6), and a page that never says what the business does. Everything else is usually cheaper to repair than to replace.
When it is not
If the pages are fine and nobody can find them, that is a search and listing problem and a new site will not touch it. 730 sites in North York have page titles that never name the city — that is a morning of work, not a rebuild.
What we keep
The domain, the rankings and the text that already works. A rebuild that drops the addresses people link to is how businesses lose the traffic they had. 785 of the 1,753 sites here are WordPress, which migrates cleanly when it is planned.

Questions
Straight answers.
How many businesses in North York have an outdated website?
We opened 1,753 working sites in North York and 438 of them are visibly dated — old layouts, no mobile version, or a copyright line years behind. A further 124 link to a site that does not load at all.
Will a rebuild lose my Google rankings?
Not if every old address is mapped and redirected, which is the first thing we plan. Rankings usually wobble for a week or two after any rebuild and settle back.
Your turn
Same check,
run on your site.
The check behind this page is the one we ran on every business above. Put your own address in and it will load your site on a phone screen, look at the certificate and the page age, and tell you what a visitor meets. No email, nothing stored.
