Ontario trades · From $590

Contractor websites,
from $590.

For electricians, plumbers, HVAC, roofers, renovators and the trades around them. Built to turn a phone search into a quote request — and to carry the licence and insurance details your customers are told to check.

Why most contractor sites lose the call.

We opened 6,375 trade business websites across the GTA and checked each one. 2,020 have no quote form anywhere. 459 no longer load at all, while the Google listing still sends people to them. A homeowner standing in a flooded basement does not persevere with a site like that; they press back and call the next listing.

The fix is not a prettier site. It is a page that answers four things before the first scroll: what you do, where you do it, what it is likely to cost, and how to reach you in one tap.

What goes on a contractor site that works.

Photos of your own jobs

Not stock photography of somebody else's kitchen. Before and after, taken on your phone, on the jobs you are proud of.

A page per service area

An honest page for each town you actually work in, with something true to say about working there. Not forty generated pages — Google calls those doorways and treats them as spam.

A quote form built for a phone

Short, tappable, with the option to attach a photo of the problem. Most trade enquiries arrive from a phone at the worst moment of someone's day.

Your licence and insurance, visible

For electrical contractors, Ontario regulation requires the ECRA/ESA licence number in advertising. We put it where customers and inspectors both expect it.

Emergency and hours, obvious

If you take after-hours calls, that belongs above the fold, not in a footer.

Found in the map pack

Your Google Business Profile set up, categorised and connected, because for trades the map pack is where the call comes from.

What it costs.

By the size of the business. A one-van operation is genuinely cheaper to build for than a company with four crews and three service areas.

Size of businessWebsiteMonthly
Solo operator or a two-person shop$590$129
A crew of three to ten$1,190$299
Ten or more, or several locations$2,400$590
Legal, medical or financial practice$3,900$990

The build is paid after the site is finished and you have seen it. The monthly part covers hosting, the domain, edits, your Google Business Profile and ongoing search work, and can be cancelled any month. Full pricing.

How it works.

  1. A call about the work. What you do, which towns, what jobs you want more of and which you would rather stop taking.
  2. We look at your competition. The five contractors ranking above you in your town, and what their sites and listings do that yours does not.
  3. We build it and send a live preview link. One to two weeks.
  4. You correct it. Prices, services, the photographs, the wording about your warranty.
  5. Live, then you pay. Hosting, edits and the Google listing carry on monthly and can be cancelled any month.

Why you can believe a price you have not negotiated.

You pay after the site is built. Not a deposit, not half up front — nothing until it is finished and you have looked at it. If you do not want it, you do not pay for it, and we would rather absorb that than argue someone into a site they are unhappy with.

Our prices are published in full, so the number does not change once we know what you drive. There is no contract: the monthly part is month to month, and the domain and the site are yours either way.

We do not publish client names — the businesses we work for asked us not to, and we would rather keep that promise than win an argument on a web page. What we can show you is our work on the whole market: we opened 34,180 GTA business websites one at a time and published everything we found. Run the same check on your own site, free and without an email, on our site checker.

We know the rules your trade works under.

Not because we read a blog about it — we wrote the plain-English guides, from the regulations themselves: where your ESA licence number has to appear, TSSA registration for gas and HVAC work, WSIB clearance certificates, what an Ontario renovation contract must contain, and when you have to register for HST.

It matters on the website because half of those rules are about what you are required to show a customer — and a site that shows them reads as a business that knows what it is doing.

Questions

What people ask us.

How much does a contractor website cost in Ontario?

Ours start at $590 for a one-person operation and $1,190 for a crew of three to ten, paid after the site is built. Hosting, edits and your Google listing run $129 to $299 a month and can be cancelled any month.

Can you add my licence number and insurance details?

Yes, and for electrical contractors Ontario regulation requires the ECRA/ESA licence number in advertising. We put it in the footer and on the contact page as a matter of course.

Will it help me rank in Google Maps?

The listing does most of that work, and setting it up properly is part of the monthly fee: categories, service area, hours, services and photographs. The site supports it by confirming the same details. Nobody can promise a position.

Do I pay anything up front?

No. You pay once the site is built and you have seen it. If you do not want it, you do not pay.

Is there a contract?

No. The monthly fee is month to month and can be cancelled any month. The domain and the site stay yours.

Who owns the domain?

You do. We register it in your business name, in an account you hold. If you leave us, it goes with you.

We do not guess and we do not send a report by email. Type the address, wait ten seconds, read what comes back. If your site is fine it will say so.
