Glossary · Local search
Multi-location SEO.
Ranking a business that operates from several addresses, each needing its own listing and its own page.
Why it matters.
The rule is one listing per place where you actually receive customers, and one page per listing with genuinely different content — staff, hours, photographs, directions, parking. Duplicating a page across five locations with the place name swapped is the doorway pattern, and Google treats it as one regardless of how many real offices exist.
How to check it yourself.
Take two of your location pages and swap the addresses. If you now have the other page, they are duplicates and should be merged or rewritten.
Questions
The usual questions.
How do I check multi-location seo on my own site?

Your turn
Same check,
run on your site.
The check behind this page is the one we ran on every business above. Put your own address in and it will load your site on a phone screen, look at the certificate and the page age, and tell you what a visitor meets. No email, nothing stored.
